Are you one of those people who have trust issues?
Are you one of those people who doubt almost everything they see online if it's worth the money they're spending or is it one hell of a waste of hard earned money?
That's okay I'm also one of you (haha) that's why I came up with this blog :)Nowadays, online shops are very in-demand not only because it's less hassle but also because you could save a lot from your free time to do something else than to be stuck on a very heavy traffic.I guess this is one of the reasons why most people nowadays love buying online, including me (haha) :))
Anyways, these are just some of the list of Pros and Cons when buying Online.PROS:
- Less hassle.
- Convenient
- Delivered directly to your doorstep.
- You can save gas (haha)
- You can shop wherever and whatever you're doing
- You don't have to wait on long lines to pay for your orders
CONS:
- You cannot guarantee that the item you're buying is in a good quality.
- You cannot guarantee how safe the items you're buying (For example buying makeups, beauty products, food)
- You cannot do anything when you have issues regarding your received items.
- Not most online shops offer a refund.
- Most items are on its fixed prices (You cannot ask a discount!!)
- You have to pay for your own shipping fee. (This is kinda costly in some online shops)
....But good thing there's Shopee!
On this blog, I'm gonna be sharing some simple tips on how to buy good quality items on Shopee. (Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post.)As we most Filipinos know, Shopee is one of the most leading Online Shopping company here in the Philippines. Not only because they serve a lot of affordable and Oh-Some! quality items but also because they offer free shipping delivery when you reach a minimum amount (500 pesos) of the total value of your orders.STEPS:First, take note that everything you see on shopee is posted by different sellers. So as much as possible, if you want to buy many items with the same category of what you are buying, check the products of that seller first if they have all the things that you needed. For example:I'm looking for an A6 dotted notebook.Seller A has everything that I am looking for but the cost of their A6 notebook is 60 pesos.Seller B doesn't have everything that I am looking for but the cost of their A6 notebook is 55 pesos. So for me, I think it's better if I'll choose Seller A even though the price of their notebook is quite higher compared to Seller B's notebook price. This is because first, there’s a possibility that I could avail the free shipping when I reach the certain amount (Minimum of 500 pesos for free shipping). If I'll choose to buy to Seller B I still have to pay for the shipping fee for it which will be too costly for me already.Second, before buying a product check the seller's overall rating first. For me, I think it's better if the seller has 5.0/5 star ratings because you can be assured that, that seller satisfied all their customers. And there's also a big possibility that their products are of good quality.Third, before buying a product check the product's rating also.In this case, you gonna show your FBI skills.I would say that this is the most important step because this would be the make or break of all these steps because you gonna apply your inner FBI skills on inspecting the pictures the previews buyers posted. I think this is the best way of knowing what to expect on the product also because you'll gonna see the real and raw picture of the product you're gonna buying.Fourth, if you're buying a very cheap product just always don't expect to receive a designer kind of quality.I've seen a lot of people already who loves to buy very cheap items and rants the whole time because the product they received are not what they expected. Of course people! If you buy that top for 45 pesos don't expect to get a 500 pesos kind of quality. I mean it just doesn't make sense right? If you want to buy a very expensive looking kind of item just buy the ones in the mall or the ones that are so expensive online.Bottom line is I think it’s better that we will lower our expectations so that we wouldn't be that disappointed with the outcome. But I'm not saying that all the shops that sell very cheap items have bad quality products okay? Because I saw some shops who really sell very cheap items but all the reviews of their products are in 5 stars and have very good feedback's.
Lastly, as a friendly reminder, try it at your own risk
These tips may not only be applied to Shopee alone but also when you are buying online. So that's it, guys! I hope I somehow helped you 😉
